The referee ignored The Hague's protests and gave Akif Aslam a yellow card for diving instead. In the 17th match minute, The Hague was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Akif Aslam to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ishtiaq Irshad in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hakim Qazi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the The Hague defense, Ishtiaq Irshad kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hakim Qazi. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fareed Shaheed during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
