After a rather tough play, Hinckley's Adeel Khawaja got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 18th minute, Mahmood ul-Hassan made a precise shot to the right of Stuart Bates. Conisbrough's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 22 minutes in the game, Tayyab Fida fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Stuart Bates having to interfere. The supporters of Hinckley booed when Conisbrough was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lance Hutchings didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 86th match minute, Conisbrough was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eric Airton to maneuver through the defense. If Stuart Ingham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Imran Mukhtar was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Trev Wall showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-1 in the 94 minute of play. There was no doubt that Hinckley were the better team. Hinckley's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
