After having played for 6 minutes, Mahmood ul-Hassan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hinckley's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mahmood ul-Hassan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 8th minute Mahmood ul-Hassan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nathan Billington saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Hinckley fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when Hinckley's Tayyab Fida looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mahmood ul-Hassan in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nathan Billington prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Mahmood ul-Hassan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hinckley's supporters rose to their feet, but Mahmood ul-Hassan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nathan Billington breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 30th play minutes Mahmood ul-Hassan shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Nathan Billington and just under the crossbar into goal. Mahmood ul-Hassan might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nathan Billington. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mahmood ul-Hassan ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mahmood ul-Hassan in the 33rd minute of play forced Kensington's goalkeeper Nathan Billington to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37thth minute of the game Tayyab Fida who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kensington's Nathan Billington was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Tayyab Fida put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Nathan Billington. In the 44th minute Tayyab Fida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nathan Billington saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Des Browning fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kensington's protests and gave Des Browning a yellow card for diving instead. In the 47th match minute, Kensington was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Des Browning to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Hinckley were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Des Browning to make the kick off. Imran Mukhtar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Des Browning, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Sami Usmani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mahmood ul-Hassan might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nathan Billington. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mahmood ul-Hassan ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kensington's goalkeeper Nathan Billington, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alastair Beckett charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alastair Beckett the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 77th minute there was a penalty for Hinckley. Razzaq Dogar stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Nathan Billington. 0-4. Nathan Billington was a little too slow when Shabir Khawaja got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 0-5. Javaid Ijaz hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Nathan Billington was out of position in the 89 minute of play, and Tayyab Fida capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tayyab Fida really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicky Silk during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 95 played minutes Kensington got a freekick which was hit by Nicky Silk. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tayyab Fida in the 99th minute of play forced Kensington's goalkeeper Nathan Billington to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle sounded Hinckley left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Kensington.
