Spectators: 7000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ali Asad got the match started through his kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Mansfield United's Ash Blackwater slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aslam Qadri. That made the score 1-0 after 4 minutes of play. 8 minutes into the match, Thrybergh's goalkeeper Aslam Qadri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matty Potterton. Aslam Qadri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ash Blackwater, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. When Ash Blackwater came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Mansfield United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ash Blackwater couldn't finish the play. 12 minutes into the game, Ali Asad was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Thrybergh's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mansfield United the free kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Mansfield United's Matty Potterton slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aslam Qadri. That made the score 2-0 after 14 minutes of play. Philip Berry struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Aslam Qadri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mansfield United. Adeel Paracha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Bobby Sinclair tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ali Asad recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aslam Qadri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ash Blackwater in the 44th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Matty Potterton notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Thrybergh's Aslam Qadri. Aslam Qadri was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

After 55 minutes, Athar Shafi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Thrybergh and the Mansfield United players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 55 played minutes Thrybergh got a freekick which was hit by Athar Shafi. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 57th minute of the game. One of Thrybergh:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Mansfield United:s goal. After 66 played minutes Thrybergh got a freekick which was hit by Malik Shakir. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Asad in the 73rd minute of play forced Mansfield United's goalkeeper Bobby Sinclair to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Darren Henwood took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 81st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aslam Qadri. Thrybergh's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Aslam Qadri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matty Potterton in the 83rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Thrybergh's Malik Shakir got a free kick in the 88th minute. Niaz Jamal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bobby Sinclair read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Matty Potterton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 100th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mansfield United walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
