Spectators: 7783 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1600, VIP seats: 183) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Vern Rowe took the kick off in the first half of the match. 6 minutes into the match, Sandbach's goal looked a bit too open when Marlon Peacock came free, but Kang Xiang Xuan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Sandbach's Zaib Mushtaq in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Harlow United's goalie prevented a goal. In the 12th minute Zaib Mushtaq shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Seth Chambers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hakim ul-Hassan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Seth Chambers having to interfere. Zaib Mushtaq struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Seth Chambers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sandbach. In the 17thth minute of the game Zaib Mushtaq who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Harlow United's Seth Chambers was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 18th match minute, Harlow United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lennie Saunders to maneuver through the defense. Sandbach's Kang Xiang Xuan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vern Rowe in the 22nd minute of play. Zaib Mushtaq sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 29 minutes into the match, Harlow United's goal looked a bit too open when Zaib Mushtaq came free, but Seth Chambers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sandbach's Shabir Basharat was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Seth Chambers in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A nice corner shot did that Shabir Basharat got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Seth Chambers quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Kang Xiang Xuan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marlon Peacock in the 35th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Harlow United's goalkeeper Seth Chambers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hakim ul-Hassan. Hakim ul-Hassan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Seth Chambers having to interfere. Seth Chambers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaib Mushtaq in the 40th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Harlow United's zone, Hakim ul-Hassan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Seth Chambers came out of the goal and Hakim ul-Hassan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 44th minute of the match Shabir Basharat shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Seth Chambers showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Seth Chambers made a fantastic save in the 49th minute, when Hakim ul-Hassan sent off a good shot on target. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Zaib Mushtaq blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Seth Chambers having to make a save. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 57th minute of the game. One of Harlow United:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sandbach:s goal. In the 59th minute there was a penalty for Sandbach. Shabir Basharat stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Seth Chambers. 1-0. Vern Rowe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 66 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Hakim ul-Hassan sped through Harlow United's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Seth Chambers. Shabir Kashif charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Shabir Kashif the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Sandbach's Shabir Kashif got a free kick in the 74th minute. Shabir Kashif hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Kang Xiang Xuan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vern Rowe, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Zaib Mushtaq hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Kenny Pitts shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Marlon Peacock blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kang Xiang Xuan having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Harlow United's zone, Hakim ul-Hassan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Seth Chambers came out of the goal and Hakim ul-Hassan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 93 minutes into the game, Hakim ul-Hassan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Seth Chambers was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Hakim ul-Hassan came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Sandbach fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hakim ul-Hassan couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Harlow United's Lennie Saunders got a free kick in the 101st minute. Sandbach's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
