The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Moath Al Harban's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Haitham Al Sohali read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. 17 minutes into the game, Moath Al Harban cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Haitham Al Sohali was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Shjae Al Khars sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 26 minutes into the match, Dibai Leo's goal looked a bit too open when Hani Mandane came free, but Haitham Al Sohali reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute, Moath Al Harban left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Exeter AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Haitham Al Sohali took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hani Mandane, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maitham Al Khaled made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sayed Al Herz in the 38th minute of play. After some careless play in the Dibai Leo defense, Hani Mandane kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Haitham Al Sohali. The Dibai Leo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Haitham Al Sohali should have stopped the shot. In the 46th match minute, Dibai Leo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aqel Al Hadhod to maneuver through the defense. 49 minutes into the match, Dibai Leo's goal looked a bit too open when Moath Al Harban came free, but Haitham Al Sohali reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hani Mandane to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Monther Mandane managed to get in a good position for a shot. Exeter AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Monther Mandane was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Haitham Al Sohali breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sayed Al Herz succeeded in the game's 59th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-3. Moath Al Harbans short, quick shot in the 65thth minute got Haitham Al Sohali to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Firas Taiban fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dibai Leo's protests and gave Firas Taiban a yellow card for diving instead. Firas Taiban hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Hani Mandane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haitham Al Sohali having to interfere. Dibai Leo's Sayed Al Herz got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Dibai Leo's Haitham Al Sohali got control of the ball when Moath Al Harban tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Exeter AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
