Spectators: 6806 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1806, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Abdul Aziz Al Fadhalah started the match with the kick off. Wallington FC's Zaher Al Hammady got a good chance for a goal in the 2nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 6th minute of the match, Abdul Aziz Al Fadhalah tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Emad Kakoli saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Emad Kakoli came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Barnard Castle City's Darweesh Shams. But to his dismay, Darweesh Shams quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After 16 played minutes Barnard Castle City got a freekick which was hit by Motlaq Al Habshi. When Wallington FC's Zaher Al Hammady in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Barnard Castle City's goalie prevented a goal. Haitham Al Hashash made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaher Al Hammady in the 22nd minute of play. Darweesh Shams might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emad Kakoli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Darweesh Shams ran back to his position shaking his head. 28 minutes into the game, Zaher Al Hammady cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Haitham Al Hashash was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Darweesh Shams had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Darweesh Shams sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emad Kakoli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abdul Aziz Al Fadhalah's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Darweesh Shams blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emad Kakoli having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Wallington FC's zone, Darweesh Shams stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emad Kakoli came out of the goal and Darweesh Shams tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Abdul Aziz Al Fadhalah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hussain Al Hajri kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Salim Al Mansor was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Zaher Al Hammady managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wallington FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zaher Al Hammady was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 58th minute by Salim Al Mansor got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Darweesh Shams in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emad Kakoli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Emad Kakoli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdul Aziz Al Fadhalah in the 67th minute of the match. Abdul Aziz Al Fadhalah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Emad Kakoli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Darweesh Shams came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Barnard Castle City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Darweesh Shams couldn't finish the play. Hussain Al Hajri hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Zaher Al Hammady in the 75thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Haitham Al Hashash, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Haitham Al Hashash showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salim Al Mansor in the 78th minute of the match. If Abdul Aziz Al Fadhalah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zaher Al Hammady took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Haitham Al Hashash. Haitham Al Hashash dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 97th minute, Darweesh Shams made a precise shot to the right of Emad Kakoli. Wallington FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Despite being the better team, Barnard Castle City failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
