When Nizar Al Najdi came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Sawbridgeworth fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nizar Al Najdi couldn't finish the play. Adnan Bo Abbas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Sami Boften tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nizar Al Najdi in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sami Boften saved İttihat ve Terakki from getting behind. After 18 played minutes İttihat ve Terakki got a freekick which was hit by Naji Al Dosery. Sami Boften showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adnan Bo Abbas in the 19th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vaios Straggas during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 20th match minute, İttihat ve Terakki was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vaios Straggas to maneuver through the defense. Sami Boften took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adnan Bo Abbas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the İttihat ve Terakki defense, Adnan Bo Abbas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sami Boften. The İttihat ve Terakki fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sami Boften should have stopped the shot. Adnan Bo Abbas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Sami Boften tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vaios Straggas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salem Al Bana having to interfere. Adnan Bo Abbas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 37 minutes into the game, Mubarek Abo Al Hasan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sawbridgeworth's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave İttihat ve Terakki the free kick. Sami Boften made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adnan Bo Abbas in the 43rd minute of play. In the 47th minute, Nizar Al Najdi made a precise shot to the right of Sami Boften. İttihat ve Terakki's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After a defensive mix-up in İttihat ve Terakki's zone, Nizar Al Najdi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sami Boften came out of the goal and Nizar Al Najdi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 66 minutes, Adnan Bo Abbas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sawbridgeworth's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adnan Bo Abbas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. İttihat ve Terakki's Sami Boften played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adnan Bo Abbas in the 68th minute of play. Adnan Bo Abbas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Sami Boften tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, Sawbridgeworth's goal looked a bit too open when Vaios Straggas came free, but Salem Al Bana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Adnan Bo Abbas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. İttihat ve Terakki's Sami Boften played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adnan Bo Abbas in the 83rd minute of play. Nizar Al Najdi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Sami Boften tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vaios Straggas kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Sawbridgeworth's Shaban Al Mulaifi couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for İttihat ve Terakki. Nizar Al Najdi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sami Boften having to interfere.
