The audience was convinced that Ali Abol's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Salem Al Jalahma was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Bristol Fishponds City's Zaher Al Ghanem got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Bristol Fishponds City's Salem Al Jalahma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esmael Al Barrak in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th match minute, Bristol Fishponds City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yazeed Al Baghli to maneuver through the defense. After 27 played minutes Bristol Fishponds City got a freekick which was hit by Mamdouh Al Barrak. Kerala Blasters FC's Basel Bo Qamaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdul Mohsen Al Bahar in the 29th minute of play. Najim Al Qattan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st minute Kerala Blasters FC were awarded a corner. Najim Al Muwail went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Najim Al Muwail got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Salem Al Jalahma quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Salem Al Jalahma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Abol in the 43rd minute of the match. Salem Al Jalahma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Abol in the 46th minute of play. Ali Abol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salem Al Jalahma having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abdul Mohsen Al Bahar made a kick off. Esmael Al Barrak who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Salem Al Jalahma when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Esmael Al Barrak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salem Al Jalahma having to interfere. Salem Al Jalahma was a little too slow when Ali Abol got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 66th minute. The score was now 0-2. Esmael Al Barrak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Esmael Al Barrak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Salem Al Jalahma made a huge save. If Abdul Mohsen Al Bahar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 76th minute, Najim Al Qattan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bristol Fishponds City fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Salem Al Jalahma made an important save on a dangerous shot by Esmael Al Barrak in the 82nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Kerala Blasters FC's Esmael Al Barrak slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Salem Al Jalahma. That made the score 1-4 after 82 minutes of play. Abdul Mohsen Al Bahar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Basel Bo Qamaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 89 minutes into the game, Esmael Al Barrak recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Salem Al Jalahma. Esmael Al Barrak showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. When the match clock showed 94 minutes, the score became 1-6 when Ali Abol sped through Bristol Fishponds City's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Salem Al Jalahma. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Kerala Blasters FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
