In the 10th minute, Zahid Al Mofede got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sameer Al Jalahma struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Mamon Al Jalahma didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Comberton. Khalefa Al Homaithe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ghazi Al Ali in the 24th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Qais Shams hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sultan Al Homaithe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Khalefa Al Homaithe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ghazi Al Ali had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mamon Al Jalahma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sameer Al Jalahma in the 42nd minute of the match. Meshal Taiban's late challenge caught a Comberton's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Meshal Taiban helped the player get up and apologised. Meshal Taiban hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match.

When Basem Baroun came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Comberton fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Basem Baroun couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sultan Al Homaithe in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Khalefa Al Homaithe saved Comberton from getting behind. If Ghazi Al Ali had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sultan Al Homaithe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Khalefa Al Homaithe having to make a save. When the match clock showed 73 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Ghazi Al Ali sped through Comberton's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Khalefa Al Homaithe. Sultan Al Homaithe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Comberton's Khalefa Al Homaithe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sultan Al Homaithe in the 85th minute of play. In the 86th minute, Ghazi Al Ali made a precise shot to the right of Khalefa Al Homaithe. Comberton's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Firas Taqi kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Sultan Al Homaithe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
