Spectators: 6795 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1795, VIP seats: 0) Yaqoub Ghadhanfer made the kick off and thus started the match. Malik Al Homaithe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waleed Al Khames in the 10th minute of play. After 19 played minutes Carlsberg FC got a freekick which was hit by Rida Dashti. Eshaq Al Hadad made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Sami Al Mulaifi sent off a good shot on target. Carlsberg FC's Dhari Al Jalahma got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 36th minute, Dhari Al Jalahma left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Carlsberg FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Malik Al Homaithe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Waleed Al Khames went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Dhari Al Jalahma took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Malik Al Homaithe. Malik Al Homaithe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dhari Al Jalahma to make the kick off. Malik Al Homaithe came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Carlsberg FC's Waleed Al Khames. But to his dismay, Waleed Al Khames quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sami Al Mulaifi in the 69th minute of play forced Carlsberg FC's goalkeeper Eshaq Al Hadad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sami Al Mulaifi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eshaq Al Hadad having to interfere. Mosaed Al Enzi kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. If Dhari Al Jalahma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aesem Al Gareb kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. The Carlsberg FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Carlsberg FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
