Garstang FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Southbourne the free kick. In the 9th minute, Fakher Al Azmi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 12 played minutes Garstang FC got a freekick which was hit by Saleh Mandane. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by Garstang FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Emad Al Mulaifi was slow to take the kick. During this time Southbourne's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Emad Al Mulaifi got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Morad Shamsah quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Najim Al Besher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sari Al Dosery having to interfere. Yasen Al Ateqi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 28 played minutes, Southbourne's Emad Al Mulaifi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Morad Shamsah came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Southbourne reached it. If Masuod Ghadhanfer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Southbourne's Fadhel Bo Abbas got a free kick in the 33rd minute. After 34 played minutes Southbourne got a freekick which was hit by Qasem Al Bloshi. Najim Al Besher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 45 in the game by Habib Al Homaithe from a close distance when the talented Morad Shamsah managed to make a qualified save. Garstang FC's players were relieved. Morad Shamsah showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yasen Al Ateqi, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Masuod Ghadhanfer made a kick off. Sari Al Dosery made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Najim Al Besher sent off a good shot on target. In the 57thth minute of the game Masuod Ghadhanfer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Southbourne's Sari Al Dosery was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Najim Al Besher could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Sari Al Dosery made a huge save. Najim Al Besher struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Sari Al Dosery didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Garstang FC. If Masuod Ghadhanfer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sari Al Dosery showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Masuod Ghadhanfer in the 67th minute of the match. When Baqer Al Hajri fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Southbourne's protests and gave Baqer Al Hajri a yellow card for diving instead. Baqer Al Hajri kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Garstang FC's Masuod Ghadhanfer managed to work through Southbourne's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Masuod Ghadhanfer dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Habib Al Homaithe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Morad Shamsah showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Habib Al Homaithe in the 78th minute of the match. Baqer Al Youha charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Baqer Al Youha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sari Al Dosery made an important save on a dangerous shot by Najim Al Besher in the 80th minute. 82 minutes into the match, Garstang FC's goal looked a bit too open when Yasen Al Ateqi came free, but Morad Shamsah reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Habib Al Homaithe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 85 minutes into the match, Garstang FC's goal looked a bit too open when Yasen Al Ateqi came free, but Morad Shamsah reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 96th minute of the match Firas Sarkhoh shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sari Al Dosery showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Garstang FC played a much better game than Southbourne and deserved their victory. The Southbourne players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
