Seating: 1806, VIP seats: 0) Khalifa FC's Baqer Bahroh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salem Al Saffar in the 9th minute of play. Saed Al Khames fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wasel Al Ajmi having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Khalifa FC's zone, Salem Al Saffar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baqer Bahroh came out of the goal and Salem Al Saffar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Salem Al Saffar in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baqer Bahroh saved Khalifa FC from getting behind. If Saed Al Khames had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Swindon's Wasel Al Ajmi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saed Al Khames in the 35th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Shabeb Al Qatam in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wasel Al Ajmi saved Swindon from getting behind. 41 minutes into the match, Swindon's goal looked a bit too open when Shabeb Al Qatam came free, but Wasel Al Ajmi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Morad Al Srae hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Wasel Al Ajmi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shabeb Al Qatam in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 45th minute Saed Al Khames shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wasel Al Ajmi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th minute, Saed Al Khames got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Salem Al Saffar was the one to do the kick off. Morad Al Srae kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. The referee gave Khalifa FC a penalty, 59 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Hassan Al Amer, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Swindon's Wasel Al Ajmi. 0-1. The supporters of Swindon booed when Khalifa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basem Bahbhani didn't get a good kick on the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Swindon's Abdul Rahman Al Towatan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Baqer Bahroh narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Khalifa FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Hassan Al Amer hit a great ball. Swindon's Wasel Al Ajmi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Swindon from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Swindon booed when Khalifa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saed Al Khames didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 97 minutes, Talal Al Ali mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Swindon and the Khalifa FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Swindon's Talal Al Ali got a free kick in the 97th minute. 100 minutes had been played when some careless play by Swindon's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Hassan Al Amer was slow to take the kick. During this time Khalifa FC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Khalifa FC's corner Sayer Al Mehana fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Wasel Al Ajmi quite easily take care of the ball. The Swindon supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Khalifa FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Khalifa FC.
