Mortada Al Bana could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Yasen Al Sohali made a huge save. Tamem Boften hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Anas Al Towatan managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Rapid Bucuresti's supporters rose to their feet, but Anas Al Towatan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yasen Al Sohali breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mortada Al Bana could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Yasen Al Sohali made a huge save. Adnan Al Holey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Yasen Al Sohali tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Mazen Al Bahar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mortada Al Bana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yasen Al Sohali having to interfere. Yasen Al Sohali made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mortada Al Bana in the 24th minute. Sharf Al Sarraf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mamdouh Al Amer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute Mazen Al Bahar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sharf Al Sarraf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Rapid Bucuresti's Mortada Al Bana got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Mortada Al Bana came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the FC Rapid Bucuresti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mortada Al Bana couldn't finish the play. Mazen Al Bahar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sharf Al Sarraf having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mortada Al Bana stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mazen Al Bahar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Anas Al Towatan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mortada Al Bana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Yasen Al Sohali tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Adnan Al Holey ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yasen Al Sohali was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After a rather tough play, Evington's Tamem Boften got a free kick in the 61st minute. Yasen Al Sohali took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mortada Al Bana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mortada Al Bana struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Yasen Al Sohali didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Rapid Bucuresti. Yasen Al Sohali was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 77th minute, Nizar Al Shati hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Fared Al Towatan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adnan Al Holey in the 82nd minute of play forced Evington's goalkeeper Yasen Al Sohali to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Majed Bo Abbas hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. FC Rapid Bucuresti's Farhan Al Azmi got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Mortada Al Bana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that FC Rapid Bucuresti were the better team. FC Rapid Bucuresti's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
