Msaed Abo Al Hasan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Yahya Al Banai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The goalkeeper, Yahya Al Banai, was totally fooled by Nottingham's Zaher Shams, who 6 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Ayman Boften made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Qutada Al Qattan in the 9th minute of play. Abdul Aziz Al Shati struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Ayman Boften didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nassington. Yahya Al Banai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manaf Al Nasser in the 13th minute of the match. In the 16th minute, Msaed Abo Al Hasan fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Yahya Al Banai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Msaed Abo Al Hasan, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 19th minute, Farhan Al Hindi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute, Nottingham got a penalty, and Zaher Shams placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. After 28 played minutes Nassington got a freekick which was hit by Barrak Al Mahmed. Sami Al Azmi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yahya Al Banai having to interfere. Yahya Al Banai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Msaed Abo Al Hasan, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After 31 minutes, Yasen Mandane mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nassington and the Nottingham players grew even worse after the yellow card. Yasen Mandane kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sami Al Azmi got free with Yahya Al Banai in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Manaf Al Nasser's late challenge caught a Nassington's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Manaf Al Nasser helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Nottingham getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Manaf Al Nasser hit a great ball. Ayman Boften took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Qutada Al Qattan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sami Al Azmi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute, Qutada Al Qattan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th minute Qutada Al Qattan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ayman Boften saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Msaed Abo Al Hasan was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Jaber Al Balool hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Qutada Al Qattan might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ayman Boften. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Qutada Al Qattan ran back to his position shaking his head. Msaed Abo Al Hasan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yahya Al Banai having to interfere. Qutada Al Qattan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zaher Shams hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Abdul Aziz Al Shatis short, quick shot in the 70thth minute got Ayman Boften to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Qutada Al Qattan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ayman Boften read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. After 71 played minutes Nottingham got a freekick which was hit by Mortada Al Khaled. Ayman Boften made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Qutada Al Qattan in the 73rd minute of play. A collision led to Nottingham getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Ayoob Kakoli hit a great ball. In the 76thth minute of the game Qutada Al Qattan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nottingham's Ayman Boften was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Msaed Abo Al Hasan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yahya Al Banai didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ayoob Kakoli went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Ayman Boften made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Abdul Aziz Al Shati sent off a good shot on target. In the 96th minute, Manaf Al Nasser hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Abdul Aziz Al Shati had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nottingham's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
