One of Night Watch:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of North Shields:s goal. In the 5th minute there was a penalty for North Shields. Nayef Al Amer stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Saed Al Qattan. 1-0. Wasel Al Ghanem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oun Al Dosery having to interfere. In the 18th minute Wasel Al Ghanem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oun Al Dosery saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zahid Al Sallal took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Saed Al Qattan. Saed Al Qattan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Saed Al Qattan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jassem Dashti in the 31st minute of the match. If Wasel Al Ghanem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 38 minutes into the match, North Shields's goal looked a bit too open when Waleed Al Baghli came free, but Oun Al Dosery reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in North Shields fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 40th minute. Penalty! Naji Al Kandere shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. When Nayef Al Ammar fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Night Watch's protests and gave Nayef Al Ammar a yellow card for diving instead. In the 45th match minute, Night Watch was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nayef Al Ammar to maneuver through the defense. Night Watch's Saed Al Qattan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Night Watch from getting a goal against them. Jassem Dashti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Waleed Al Baghli stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jassem Dashti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saed Al Qattan having to interfere. 56 minutes had been played when some careless play by North Shields's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Naji Al Kandere was slow to take the kick. During this time Night Watch's players had a chance to rest. If Zahid Al Sallal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Night Watch's zone, Jassem Dashti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Saed Al Qattan came out of the goal and Jassem Dashti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 62 minutes into the game, one of Night Watch:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Jassem Dashti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Saed Al Qattan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Saed Al Qattan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jassem Dashti in the 72nd minute of play. Wasel Al Ghanem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oun Al Dosery having to interfere. Wasel Al Ghanem could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Oun Al Dosery made a huge save. Wasel Al Ghanem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Oun Al Dosery tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Waleed Al Baghli struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Oun Al Dosery didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Night Watch. If Waleed Al Baghli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Night Watch's Saed Al Qattan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jassem Dashti in the 94th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Night Watch's zone, Zahid Al Sallal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Saed Al Qattan came out of the goal and Zahid Al Sallal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. North Shields's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
