Spectators: 7000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sanad Al Mosawe started the match with the kick off. Ayman Jiragh took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Salem Bo Hamad. Salem Bo Hamad dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 6 minutes into the match, Bandar Taiban had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Salem Bo Hamad. Margate's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bandar Taiban was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 11th minute Sharjah FC were awarded a corner. Ayman Jiragh went to the cornerflag to take it. Wasel Al Bahar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sanad Al Mosawe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joop Minnen having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Meshal Al Herz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Salem Bo Hamad was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Salem Bo Hamad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wasel Al Bahar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bandar Taiban took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Salem Bo Hamad. Salem Bo Hamad dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. In the 31st minute Meshal Al Herz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salem Bo Hamad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sanad Al Mosawe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joop Minnen having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bandar Taiban in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Salem Bo Hamad prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wasel Al Bahar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 40th minute there was a penalty for Sharjah FC. Ayman Jiragh stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Salem Bo Hamad. 0-6. Meshal Al Herz hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match.

Yazeed Dehrab blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Salem Bo Hamad having to make a save. Yazeed Dehrab sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bandar Taiban who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of Salem Bo Hamad when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bandar Taiban in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Salem Bo Hamad prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wasel Al Bahar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Salem Bo Hamad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Bandar Taiban got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 67th minute, Wasel Al Bahar made a precise shot to the right of Salem Bo Hamad. Margate's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. Bandar Taiban fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salem Bo Hamad having to interfere. Salem Bo Hamad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yazeed Dehrab in the 78th minute of the match. Salem Bo Hamad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yazeed Dehrab in the 80th minute of play. Sharjah FC's Bandar Taiban got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wasel Al Bahar took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Salem Bo Hamad. Salem Bo Hamad dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. When Yazeed Dehrab came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Sharjah FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yazeed Dehrab couldn't finish the play. If Wasel Al Bahar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Sharjah FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Margate.
