Ghasan Shabakhoh's late challenge caught a Ajmán Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ghasan Shabakhoh helped the player get up and apologised. Khaled Al Banai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fuad Shams, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Khaled Al Banai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fuad Shams in the 19th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Al Badaa Fc's Ghasan Shabakhoh got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 43rd minute, Fuad Shams got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Philippe-Arnaud ter Averst in the 47th minute of play forced Ajmán Club's goalkeeper Curt Stöckli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Al Badaa Fc were awarded a corner in the 49th minute after Ajmán Club's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Derar Bo Abbas took the corner. Al Badaa Fc's Virgiliu Istrate was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Curt Stöckli in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Philippe-Arnaud ter Averst was the one to do the kick off. After 58 played minutes Ajmán Club got a freekick which was hit by Ghazi Al Ajmi. After 64th play minutes Fuad Shams shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Khaled Al Banai and just under the crossbar into goal. Philippe-Arnaud ter Averst kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Ghazi Al Ajmi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Willian Machado hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Habib Al Hindi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Khaled Al Banai having to make a save. Curt Stöckli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waleed Al Mansor in the 85th minute of the match. In the 85th match minute, Ajmán Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mosalam Al Sherazi to maneuver through the defense.
