With an all-out effort, Fuyaira SC's Curt Stöckli threw himself towards the right post 37 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hashem Ashkanani, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 38 minutes into the match, Fuyaira SC's Basem Shadad sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Curt Stöckli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Ajmán Club defense, Basem Shadad kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Curt Stöckli. The Ajmán Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Curt Stöckli should have stopped the shot. 65 minutes into the match, Ajmán Club's goal looked a bit too open when Hashem Ashkanani came free, but Curt Stöckli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yaqoub Khaja blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Curt Stöckli having to make a save. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adem Boften couldn't finish the play.
