The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Eriberto Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baqer Al Jarah, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sultan Al Zamel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Saleh Al Dabos's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. A collision led to Chilcompton getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Sror Al Shaikh hit a great ball. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chilcompton's goalkeeper Sultan Al Zamel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 15 minutes into the match, Baqer Al Jarah had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eriberto Amorim. Al Shabab Al Arabi Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Baqer Al Jarah was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The audience was convinced that Esmael Al Jalahma's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sultan Al Zamel was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Saleh Al Dabos managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 29th minute, Saleh Al Dabos fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Sultan Al Zamel, passed just outside the right post. Sajid Al Attar kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Saleh Al Dabos put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Sultan Al Zamel. In the 38th minute, Saleh Al Dabos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sultan Al Zamel. The goal made the score 3-1. Saleh Al Dabos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sultan Al Zamel having to interfere. A hard shot 46 in the game by Saleh Al Dabos from a close distance when the talented Sultan Al Zamel managed to make a qualified save. Chilcompton's players were relieved. The supporters of Al Shabab Al Arabi Club booed when Chilcompton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sror Al Shaikh didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Saed Al Sharaf stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Chilcompton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sajid Al Attar to maneuver through the defense. Fayez Al Hadad's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sultan Al Zamel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Esmael Al Jalahma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Sultan Al Zamel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Khalefa Al Srae sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Saleh Al Dabos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Sultan Al Zamel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sultan Al Zamel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Saleh Al Dabos's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Bandar Shamsah charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bandar Shamsah the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 67th minute, Bandar Shamsah hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 72nd play minutes Saleh Al Dabos shot 4-1, a short shot which went by Sultan Al Zamel and just under the crossbar into goal. Edrees Al Hashash recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sultan Al Zamel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Khalefa Al Srae in the 85th minute of the match. Mahmoud Abo Al Hasan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Sultan Al Zamel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sultan Al Zamel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basel Al Sharaf in the 91st minute of play. If Saleh Al Dabos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Al Shabab Al Arabi Club were the better team. Al Shabab Al Arabi Club's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
