Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hani Al Hashash in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tolek Owsiak prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 22 minutes, Eyad Al Asuosi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ras al-Jaima Al Ain FC and the SALT players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 22nd minute, Eyad Al Asuosi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Farooq Al Muwail took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 23rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tolek Owsiak. Ras al-Jaima Al Ain FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Abdul Mohsen Al Banwan hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Tolek Owsiak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hani Al Hashash in the 25th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Ras al-Jaima Al Ain FC's Mosaed Al Sohali slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Adnan Al Motar. That made the score 2-0 after 26 minutes of play. With a little luck, SALT's Adnan Al Motar got control of the ball when Mosaed Al Sohali tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mosaed Al Sohali fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adnan Al Motar having to interfere. Adnan Al Motar made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Shaker Al Abdullah sent off a good shot on target. In the 41st match minute, Ras al-Jaima Al Ain FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Masuod Al Holey to maneuver through the defense. After 42 played minutes, SALT's Farooq Al Muwail shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tolek Owsiak came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SALT reached it. Mosaed Al Sohali let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 43rd minute shot 3-0 at rihgt post.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mosaed Al Sohali stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mosaed Al Sohali received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Adnan Al Motar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SALT's Adnan Al Motar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mansour Al Khobaize in the 62nd minute of play. Mosaed Al Sohali fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adnan Al Motar having to interfere. If Shaker Al Abdullah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mosaed Al Sohali scored 5-0 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adnan Al Motar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, SALT's Darweesh Al Ammar got a free kick in the 70th minute. 73 minutes into the match, Ras al-Jaima Al Ain FC's Mansour Al Khobaize sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adnan Al Motar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Ras al-Jaima Al Ain FC's Mosaed Al Sohali got a free kick in the 75th minute. After 79 played minutes SALT got a freekick which was hit by Yousef Al Attar. After some careless play in the SALT defense, Shaker Al Abdullah kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adnan Al Motar. The SALT fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adnan Al Motar should have stopped the shot. Mosaed Al Sohali sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Shaker Al Abdullah struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Adnan Al Motar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ras al-Jaima Al Ain FC. Mansour Al Khobaize took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adnan Al Motar. Adnan Al Motar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. There was no doubt that Ras al-Jaima Al Ain FC were the better team. Ras al-Jaima Al Ain FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
