The audience was convinced that Ali Al Arbash's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Karem Boften was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Darweesh Al Sharah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karem Boften having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Bristol Totterdown's Raed Al Asuosi got a free kick in the 56th minute. After having played for 58 minutes, Shaheen Al Sherazi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Al Wasl Dubai FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Shaheen Al Sherazi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Shaheen Al Sherazi might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Karem Boften. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Shaheen Al Sherazi ran back to his position shaking his head. If Ali Al Arbash had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hamed Al Sallal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karem Boften having to interfere. Waleed Al Abdullah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sten Zander having to interfere. 68 minutes into the match, Shaheen Al Sherazi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Karem Boften. Bristol Totterdown's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Shaheen Al Sherazi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. When Fawzy Al Herz fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bristol Totterdown's protests and gave Fawzy Al Herz a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Bristol Totterdown getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Fawzy Al Herz hit a great ball. Karem Boften came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Al Wasl Dubai FC's Shaheen Al Sherazi. But to his dismay, Shaheen Al Sherazi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. After 83 minutes of play, Al Wasl Dubai FC's Ali Al Arbash made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
