Ali Al Arbash sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yousef Al Attar hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 26th match minute, SALT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Darweesh Al Ammar to maneuver through the defense. Adnan Al Motar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Darweesh Al Sharah went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 32 minutes into the match, SALT's goal looked a bit too open when Abdul Mohsen Al Sallal came free, but Adnan Al Motar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute, Darweesh Al Sharah ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adnan Al Motar was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 48th minute Darweesh Al Sharah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adnan Al Motar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

In the 85th minute, Hani Al Hashash left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SALT fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. Adnan Al Motar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Al Arbash in the 88th minute of the match. Gibrel Taqi hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Ali Al Arbash struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Adnan Al Motar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Al Wasl Dubai FC. When the final whistle sounded Al Wasl Dubai FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than SALT.
