Spectators: 7650 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 150) Al-Nassr Football Club's Mortada Al Shaikh started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Salah Al Homaithe in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Saverio Henrico prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mortada Al Shaikh kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, SALT's Yousef Al Attar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Saverio Henrico narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gibrel Taqi struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Saverio Henrico didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SALT. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Mortada Al Shaikh put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Adnan Al Motar. Yousef Al Attar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 24 minutes, Salah Al Homaithe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SALT's supporters crossed their fingers, but Salah Al Homaithe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Al-Nassr Football Club's Mortada Al Shaikh slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Adnan Al Motar. That made the score 2-0 after 27 minutes of play. Saverio Henrico stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Salah Al Homaithe's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Saverio Henrico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salah Al Homaithe in the 45th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hani Al Hashash stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mortada Al Shaikh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 57th minute, Rida Al Sharaf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 58th minute of the match Farooq Al Muwail sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Saverio Henrico skillfully saved the ball. In the 59th minute, Waldemar Dracena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mortada Al Shaikh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Waldemar Dracena charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Waldemar Dracena the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gibrel Taqi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. In the 81st minute, Yaqoot Al Hashash hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Al-Nassr Football Club's zone, Hani Al Hashash stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Saverio Henrico came out of the goal and Hani Al Hashash tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 84th minute, Mortada Al Shaikh made a precise shot to the right of Adnan Al Motar. SALT's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Hani Al Hashash put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Saverio Henrico. In the 94th minute, Gibrel Taqi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SALT fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2.
