Bristol Totterdown

Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 0) Bristol Totterdown's Karem Boften played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sari Bo Hamad in the 4th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Mosaed Al Sohali's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Karem Boften was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. 8 minutes into the match, Bristol Totterdown's goal looked a bit too open when Hamzah Bo Abbas came free, but Karem Boften reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karem Boften took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mansour Al Khobaize, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karem Boften made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shaker Al Abdullah in the 11th minute of play. When Mosaed Al Sohali came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Ras al-Jaima Al Ain FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mosaed Al Sohali couldn't finish the play. Mosaed Al Sohali struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Karem Boften didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ras al-Jaima Al Ain FC. In the 20th minute Mosaed Al Sohali shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karem Boften saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Bristol Totterdown's zone, Mansour Al Khobaize stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karem Boften came out of the goal and Mansour Al Khobaize tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tolek Owsiak made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Kamal Al Mahmed sent off a good shot on target. In the 33rd minute, Fawzy Al Herz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karem Boften showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mosaed Al Sohali, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Mosaed Al Sohali might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Karem Boften. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mosaed Al Sohali ran back to his position shaking his head. Shaker Al Abdullah blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Karem Boften having to make a save. Mosaed Al Sohali sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mansour Al Khobaize in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karem Boften prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 45 minutes into the game, Abdul Mohsen Al Banwan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ras al-Jaima Al Ain FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bristol Totterdown the free kick. A collision led to Ras al-Jaima Al Ain FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Abdul Mohsen Al Banwan hit a great ball. Kamal Al Mahmed took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tolek Owsiak. Tolek Owsiak dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Waleed Al Abdullah to strike the kick off in the second half. Ras al-Jaima Al Ain FC's Mosaed Al Sohali got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Karem Boften didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 56th minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. Shaker Al Sallal charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Shaker Al Sallal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The excitement rose when Ras al-Jaima Al Ain FC's Sari Bo Hamad after 61 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Bristol Totterdown's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 1-3. In the 64th minute, Mosaed Al Sohali made a precise shot to the right of Karem Boften. Bristol Totterdown's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mosaed Al Sohali got free with Karem Boften in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 70 minutes into the match, Mansour Al Khobaize dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Karem Boften, 1-5. Mansour Al Khobaize sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Mosaed Al Sohali had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute, Khalaf Al Qatam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Ras al-Jaima Al Ain FC booed when Bristol Totterdown was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raed Al Asuosi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mosaed Al Sohali kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. In the 96thth minute of the game Mansour Al Khobaize who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bristol Totterdown's Karem Boften was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 98 minutes into the match, Mosaed Al Sohali had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Karem Boften. Bristol Totterdown's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mosaed Al Sohali was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-6. When the final whistle sounded Ras al-Jaima Al Ain FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Bristol Totterdown.
