Salam Al Hashash might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roger Hermes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Salam Al Hashash ran back to his position shaking his head. Yazeed Al Saleh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marciano Macon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to MCFC ᴳ⁸³ getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Rida Al Hajri hit a great ball. In the 60th minute Salam Al Hashash shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Hermes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 61 minutes MCFC ᴳ⁸³'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eshaq Al Khars who took care of the corner kick. Al Arabi Umm Al Quwain's Eshaq Al Khars was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Roger Hermes in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Roger Hermes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raed Kakoli, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Monther Al Ateqi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roger Hermes having to interfere. In the 75th match minute, MCFC ᴳ⁸³ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Spiros Nikolakopoulos to maneuver through the defense. When Salam Al Hashash came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Al Arabi Umm Al Quwain fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Salam Al Hashash couldn't finish the play. Salam Al Hashash received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Roger Hermes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, MCFC ᴳ⁸³'s goal looked a bit too open when Monther Al Ateqi came free, but Roger Hermes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yazeed Al Saleh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marciano Macon in the 81st minute of the match. Fahad Bo Hamad hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marciano Macon in the 92nd minute of play forced Al Arabi Umm Al Quwain's goalkeeper Yazeed Al Saleh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Al Arabi Umm Al Quwain's Yazeed Al Saleh got control of the ball when Godfredo Corderun tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the last second Yazeed Al Saleh throw himself and got hold of the ball when Hao Jian in the 95thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. MCFC ᴳ⁸³ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
