The referee ignored MCFC ᴳ⁸³'s protests and gave Godfredo Corderun a yellow card for diving instead. If Lafi Al Adsani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peter Kik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godfredo Corderun, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Nayef Jiragh took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roger Hermes. Roger Hermes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Spiros Nikolakopoulos kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. The supporters of MCFC ᴳ⁸³ booed when Shabab Alahli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eshaq Al Mansor didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, MCFC ᴳ⁸³'s Seraj Bo Resley got a free kick in the 23rd minute. After 24 played minutes MCFC ᴳ⁸³ got a freekick which was hit by Erik Palotás. 25 minutes into the match, Shabab Alahli's Nayef Jiragh sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roger Hermes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 39th minute, Erik Palotás hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Shabab Alahli's Nayef Jiragh spiked a well placed long shot which went just inside the left pole, with no chance at all for Roger Hermes. Resulting in a 2-0 score after 39 minutes. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nayef Jiragh was the one to do the kick off. Eshaq Al Mansor kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 61st minute, Lafi Al Adsani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ali Al Adsani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Shabab Alahli's Peter Kik proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Shabab Alahli from getting a goal against them. Peter Kik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hao Jian in the 68th minute of the match. Roger Hermes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nayef Jiragh went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Shabab Alahli's Ali Al Adsani got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Marciano Macon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute Godfredo Corderun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Kik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eshaq Al Mansor during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
