Spectators: 7000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Salam Al Hashash got the match started through his kick off. Anas Al Khars's late challenge caught a Al Arabi Umm Al Quwain's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anas Al Khars helped the player get up and apologised. In the 3rd match minute, Upwell FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anas Al Khars to maneuver through the defense. Yasser Shadad struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Jamal Bo Abbas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Al Arabi Umm Al Quwain. Yasser Shadad recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Upwell FC's zone, Khalaf Al Herz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jamal Bo Abbas came out of the goal and Khalaf Al Herz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Raed Kakoli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Upwell FC's zone, Yasser Shadad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jamal Bo Abbas came out of the goal and Yasser Shadad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Yasser Shadad managed to get in a good position for a shot. Al Arabi Umm Al Quwain's supporters rose to their feet, but Yasser Shadad was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jamal Bo Abbas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Khalaf Al Herz scored 0-2 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jamal Bo Abbas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fuad Shalan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yazeed Al Saleh read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Yasser Shadad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th minute, Salam Al Hashash made a precise shot to the right of Jamal Bo Abbas. Upwell FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Khalaf Al Herz might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jamal Bo Abbas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Khalaf Al Herz ran back to his position shaking his head. When Al Arabi Umm Al Quwain's Salam Al Hashash in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Upwell FC's goalie prevented a goal. Khalaf Al Herz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39thth minute of the game Salam Al Hashash who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Upwell FC's Jamal Bo Abbas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 40 minutes into the game, Raed Kakoli cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Jamal Bo Abbas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jamal Bo Abbas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Salam Al Hashash's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

An unexpected shot in the 53rd minute by Yasser Shadad got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Jamal Bo Abbas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Khalaf Al Herz, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. When Al Arabi Umm Al Quwain's Salam Al Hashash in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Upwell FC's goalie prevented a goal. After 67 minutes, Mosaed Kakoli mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Upwell FC and the Al Arabi Umm Al Quwain players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Upwell FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 67th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Al Arabi Umm Al Quwain a penalty, 68 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Eshaq Al Khars, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Upwell FC's Jamal Bo Abbas. 0-6. After 70 played minutes Al Arabi Umm Al Quwain got a freekick which was hit by Salam Al Hashash. Khalaf Al Herz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute of the match, Yasser Shadad got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jamal Bo Abbas was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The audience was convinced that Salam Al Hashash's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jamal Bo Abbas was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Motlaq Al Shaikh hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Upwell FC's Jamal Bo Abbas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Upwell FC from getting a goal against them. Sarhan Al Ajmi hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. After 88 minutes, Salam Al Hashash made it 0-7 with a short kick to the right side. Upwell FC's Jamal Bo Abbas tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Al Arabi Umm Al Quwain's Yasser Shadad got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 94th minute, Al Arabi Umm Al Quwain's Salam Al Hashash ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jamal Bo Abbas. Jamal Bo Abbas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. After 99 minutes, Khalaf Al Herz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Al Arabi Umm Al Quwain and the Upwell FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Khalaf Al Herz hit a great freekick 99 minutes into the match. When the final whistle sounded Al Arabi Umm Al Quwain left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Upwell FC.
