After having played for 82 minutes, Khalaf Al Herz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Al Arabi Umm Al Quwain's supporters crossed their fingers, but Khalaf Al Herz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yazeed Al Saleh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aqel Bo Resley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Khalaf Al Herz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute, one of Al-Wasl SC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Al-Wasl SC. When the match had been going on for 91 minutes, Al Arabi Umm Al Quwain's Eshaq Al Khars got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Shabeb Al Khames. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Al Arabi Umm Al Quwain had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
