Sven-Edvin Nordlander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Meqdad Al Bana in the 17th minute of play. After 19 minutes Presidental Guard 2011's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nemir Al Hadhod who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Meqdad Al Bana almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Presidental Guard 2011's Sven-Edvin Nordlander did a great save. Sven-Edvin Nordlander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rooney Garrido in the 20th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Szymon Madej managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hatta's supporters rose to their feet, but Szymon Madej was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sven-Edvin Nordlander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Meqdad Al Bana took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Sven-Edvin Nordlander to make any attempt to save it. Amado Gaztea hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Hatta's Lou Wegers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Naji Al Saleh in the 58th minute of play. Sven-Edvin Nordlander made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Rooney Garrido sent off a good shot on target. 64 minutes into the match, Presidental Guard 2011's goalkeeper Sven-Edvin Nordlander had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eyad Sarkhoh. In the 68th minute, Max Hjortsberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hatta's Aamir Khorshed was substituted for Raimonds Plors. Aamir Khorshed's late challenge caught a Presidental Guard 2011's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aamir Khorshed helped the player get up and apologised. Aamir Khorshed hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 74 minutes, Sven-Edvin Nordlander successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hashem Al Mulaifi got free with Sven-Edvin Nordlander in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Naji Al Saleh hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Rooney Garrido took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Sven-Edvin Nordlander to make any attempt to save it. Hatta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Presidental Guard 2011 the free kick. After 95 played minutes Hatta got a freekick which was hit by Meqdad Al Bana. The Presidental Guard 2011 supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Hatta's performance. The match ended with a win for Hatta.
