Al Ahli Club's Domingos Berriotxoa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aws Al Khars in the 38th minute of play. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 56 minutes into the match, Emad Shabakhoh had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sven-Edvin Nordlander. Presidental Guard 2011's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emad Shabakhoh was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. 60 minutes into the match, Emad Shabakhoh notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Presidental Guard 2011's Sven-Edvin Nordlander. Sven-Edvin Nordlander was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 63 minutes in the game, Sarhan Al Bloshi dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Domingos Berriotxoa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ahmad Khorshed in the 65th minute. 65 minutes into the game, Mahmoud Bo Qamaz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Al Ahli Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Presidental Guard 2011 the free kick.
