After 4 played minutes Alwahda FC got a freekick which was hit by Hamzah Khorshed. After 6 played minutes Ajman Sport Club got a freekick which was hit by Shaban Al Sohali. 7 minutes into the match, Alwahda FC's Jalal Al Rodhan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bashar Al Ajmi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alwahda FC's Patryk Owsiak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Alwahda FC from getting a goal against them. Meqdad Taiban fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bashar Al Ajmi having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, Meqdad Taiban notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Ajman Sport Club's Bashar Al Ajmi. Bashar Al Ajmi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Patryk Owsiak made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Yousef Al Rodhan sent off a good shot on target. Bashar Al Ajmi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hamzah Khorshed in the 20th minute of the match. After 21 played minutes Alwahda FC got a freekick which was hit by Mohammad Al Srae. Patryk Owsiak made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Rashed Al Khobaize sent off a good shot on target. Jalal Al Rodhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bashar Al Ajmi having to interfere. After 28 minutes, Yousef Al Rodhan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ajman Sport Club and the Alwahda FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 29th match minute, Alwahda FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Riad Al Qatam to maneuver through the defense. Alwahda FC's Hamzah Khorshed got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Meqdad Taiban sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Patryk Owsiak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yousef Al Rodhan in the 40th minute. With 40 minutes on the clock, Farooq Al Abdullah commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Rashed Al Khobaize received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Patryk Owsiak came out and tried to block the shot, but Rashed Al Khobaize slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 47th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hamzah Khorshed to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Meqdad Taiban in the 53rd minute of play forced Ajman Sport Club's goalkeeper Bashar Al Ajmi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yaqoub Abo Al Hasan kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. When Riad Al Qatam fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alwahda FC's protests and gave Riad Al Qatam a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Alwahda FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Riad Al Qatam hit a great ball. Hamzah Khorshed struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Bashar Al Ajmi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alwahda FC. Riad Al Qatam recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 63rd minute Meqdad Taiban shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bashar Al Ajmi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th minute, Sajid Dehrab ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Patryk Owsiak was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. 68 minutes into the match, Alwahda FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sajid Dehrab came free, but Patryk Owsiak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Meqdad Taiban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 72 played minutes Ajman Sport Club got a freekick which was hit by Tamem Al Zamel. Meqdad Taiban might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bashar Al Ajmi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Meqdad Taiban ran back to his position shaking his head. Hamzah Khorshed was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 76th minute. Alwahda FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Yahya Al Jalahma hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Patryk Owsiak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rashed Al Khobaize in the 83rd minute of play. In the 87th minute Meqdad Taiban shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bashar Al Ajmi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ajman Sport Club's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
