Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rooney Garrido started the match with the kick off. With an all-out effort, Al Ain's Lou Wegers threw himself towards the right post 3 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jaber Al Motar, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In a very dangerous position, a player in Al Ain fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 4th minute. Penalty! Msaed Shalan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eyad Sarkhoh, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 9th minute, Rooney Garrido ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Msaed Shalan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 11 minutes into the match, Al Ain's goal looked a bit too open when Eyad Sarkhoh came free, but Msaed Shalan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eyad Sarkhoh might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Msaed Shalan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eyad Sarkhoh ran back to his position shaking his head. The Hatta fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when Hatta's Rooney Garrido looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a little luck, Hatta's Lou Wegers got control of the ball when Fadhel Al Bloshi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Msaed Shalan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rooney Garrido, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Eyad Sarkhoh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 27 minutes of play, Hatta's Rooney Garrido made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Msaed Shalan was left in no man's land by his defense there! 32 minutes into the game, Eyad Sarkhoh cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Msaed Shalan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 39 played minutes, Al Ain's Jalal Jiragh shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lou Wegers came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Al Ain reached it. Nabel Al Naqi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lou Wegers having to interfere. After the first half Hatta were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Nabel Al Naqi made the kick off in the second half. Meqdad Al Bana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Al Ain's Msaed Shalan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rooney Garrido in the 57th minute of play. 57 minutes into the game, Rajab Al Sallal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Al Ain's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hatta the free kick. A collision led to Al Ain getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Rajab Al Sallal hit a great ball. Msaed Shalan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Meqdad Al Bana went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. 64 minutes into the match, Szymon Madej notched a goal, 0-9, to the right of Al Ain's Msaed Shalan. Msaed Shalan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hatta's Aamir Khorshed was substituted for Raimonds Plors. Lou Wegers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Seraj Al Kandere, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute, Hashem Al Mulaifi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Msaed Shalan. The goal made the score 0-11. Max Hjortsberg was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 81st minute. Hatta's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Msaed Shalan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rooney Garrido, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 84th minute, Rooney Garrido ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Msaed Shalan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-12. Wael Al Towatan kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the match, Al Ain's goalkeeper Msaed Shalan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hashem Al Mulaifi. Msaed Shalan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hashem Al Mulaifi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-13 in the 90 minute of play. Msaed Shalan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Szymon Madej in the 93rd minute of play. 93 minutes into the game, Hatta's Szymon Madej nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Msaed Shalan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-14. In the 97th minute, Meqdad Al Bana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hatta's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
