The attack was good, but when Yaroslav Bakeev in the 4th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Mikhail Belyaev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matvey Travin having to interfere. Matvey Travin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aleksey Karpov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Eastham City's Ilya Isaev got control of the ball when Yaroslav Bakeev tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mikhail Belyaev in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matvey Travin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Georgiy Avlov took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ilya Isaev. Eastham City's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Aleksey Karpov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vladislav Yakushev during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 27th minute, Vladislav Yakushev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 30 minutes into the match, Workington FC's Yaroslav Bakeev sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ilya Isaev narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Workington FC booed when Eastham City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anatoliy Akhmatov didn't get a good kick on the ball. The wind increased when Arseniy Fedoseev made the kick off in the second half. Aleksey Karpov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Matvey Travin having to make a save. After 58 minutes, Rodion Romanov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Eastham City and the Workington FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Eastham City's Rodion Romanov got a free kick in the 58th minute. After some careless play in the Eastham City defense, Arseniy Fedoseev kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ilya Isaev. The Eastham City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ilya Isaev should have stopped the shot. Arseniy Fedoseev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Ilya Isaev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Eastham City's Mikhail Belyaev dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Workington FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when Mikhail Belyaev scored to the left of an out of position Matvey Travin, making the score, 2-2. If Arseniy Fedoseev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Eastham City's Vladislav Yakushev got a free kick in the 78th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Eastham City's goal looked a bit too open when Arseniy Fedoseev came free, but Ilya Isaev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arseniy Fedoseev in the 81st minute of play forced Eastham City's goalkeeper Ilya Isaev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
