Hunslet's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Deal's defense didn't have a chance, in the 48th minute, when Sergey Boyarintsev scored to the left of an out of position Petr Devletkildeev, making the score, 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Hunslet's Afanasiy Aziatskov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Hunslet from getting a goal against them. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Petr Devletkildeev prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 92 minutes into the game, Deal's Valeriy Anisimov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Afanasiy Aziatskov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. But to his dismay, Valeriy Anisimov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Deal had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
