Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Runcorn AFC's Anton Andreev in the 12th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Boris Plyasunov was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Bolton through an amazing save. Fedor Simonov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Boris Plyasunov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anton Andreev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bolton's Boris Plyasunov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anton Andreev in the 21st minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Runcorn AFC's Anton Andreev slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Boris Plyasunov. That made the score 2-0 after 38 minutes of play. Vyacheslav Savin kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Runcorn AFC's Anton Andreev got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 48 played minutes, Runcorn AFC's Aleksandr Babich shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Boris Plyasunov came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Runcorn AFC reached it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mark Tverdikov made a kick off. Aleksandr Belyakov kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Ilya Arhipov took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 52nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Boris Plyasunov. Bolton's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Mark Tverdikov struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Grigoriy Rozanov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bolton. Anton Andreev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Boris Plyasunov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bolton's Semen Baburov got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 86th minute Anton Andreev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boris Plyasunov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anton Andreev in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Boris Plyasunov saved Bolton from getting behind. In the 94th minute, Anton Andreev left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Runcorn AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Runcorn AFC fully deserved thier win.
