After 27 minutes, Vitaliy Akinfeev mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Melomans and the Bingley players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 27th match minute, Melomans was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vitaliy Akinfeev to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Veniamin Nikolaev in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Petr Luschevskiy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sergey Venediktov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petr Luschevskiy having to interfere.
