Spectators: 8395 (Terracing: 6349, Seating: 1946, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sergey Puchkov started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Sergey Puchkov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Eroshkin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vladimir Nikitin was out of position in the 5 minute of play, and Oleg Gorodetskiy capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Oleg Gorodetskiy really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 7th minute, Sergey Puchkov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fedor Fanyaev took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Denis Eroshkin. Denis Eroshkin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 12th minute of the match Sergey Puchkov shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Denis Eroshkin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonid Azanov in the 14th minute of play forced Hexham FC's goalkeeper Vladimir Nikitin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Hexham FC's goalkeeper Vladimir Nikitin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oleg Gorodetskiy. Speed&Goal's Denis Eroshkin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergey Odintsov in the 22nd minute of play. Vladimir Nikitin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonid Azanov, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Hexham FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 31st minute, when Leonid Azanov scored to the left of an out of position Vladimir Nikitin, making the score, 2-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonid Azanov in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vladimir Nikitin saved Hexham FC from getting behind. Denis Eroshkin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergey Puchkov in the 40th minute of play. If Sergey Puchkov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fedor Fanyaev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denis Eroshkin having to interfere. Aleksandr Mishin hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stepan Alekseenko made a kick off. Gennadiy Shiryaev took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 52nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vladimir Nikitin. Hexham FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 60 minutes had been played when some careless play by Speed&Goal's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sergey Puchkov was slow to take the kick. During this time Hexham FC's players had a chance to rest. Speed&Goal's Denis Eroshkin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Speed&Goal from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Sergey Odintsov took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Denis Eroshkin to make any attempt to save it. 67 minutes into the game, Sergey Puchkov recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Denis Eroshkin. Sergey Puchkov showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-4. Denis Eroshkin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergey Puchkov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Speed&Goal's Denis Eroshkin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergey Puchkov in the 73rd minute of play. Vladimir Nikitin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonid Azanov, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Stepan Alekseenko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vladimir Nikitin. Hexham FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stepan Alekseenko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-5. Leonid Azanov struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Vladimir Nikitin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Speed&Goal. The Hexham FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
