Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sergey Puchkov took the kick off in the first half of the match. A hard shot 4 in the game by Sergey Puchkov from a close distance when the talented Petr Luschevskiy managed to make a qualified save. Melomans's players were relieved. In the 6th minute Timofey Goman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petr Luschevskiy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 7 minutes, German Hotinenko mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Melomans and the Hexham FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Melomans's zone, Fedor Fanyaev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Petr Luschevskiy came out of the goal and Fedor Fanyaev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sergey Odintsov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Hexham FC fans' excitement grew in the 17th match minute when Hexham FC's Sergey Puchkov looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sergey Puchkov in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Petr Luschevskiy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 24 minutes, Sergey Puchkov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hexham FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sergey Puchkov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Timofey Goman came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Hexham FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Timofey Goman couldn't finish the play. In the 27th minute, Fedor Fanyaev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 31st minute, Sergey Puchkov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sergey Puchkov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Petr Luschevskiy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timofey Goman, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Timofey Goman might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Petr Luschevskiy. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Timofey Goman ran back to his position shaking his head. Sergey Puchkov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Petr Luschevskiy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Petr Luschevskiy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergey Puchkov in the 42nd minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Hexham FC's Fedor Fanyaev sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Petr Luschevskiy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Hexham FC's Petr Luschevskiy threw himself towards the right post 47 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sergey Odintsov, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rustam Buryak was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Sergey Puchkov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 54th minute, Sergey Puchkov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Hexham FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Sergey Odintsov hit a great ball. In the 62nd minute, Timofey Goman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Petr Luschevskiy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sergey Puchkov's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. 64 minutes into the match, Melomans's goal looked a bit too open when Sergey Puchkov came free, but Petr Luschevskiy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sergey Puchkov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petr Luschevskiy having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fedor Fanyaev in the 67th minute of play forced Melomans's goalkeeper Petr Luschevskiy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valentin Pashenin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 69th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Petr Luschevskiy. Melomans's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Sergey Puchkov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petr Luschevskiy having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Sergey Puchkov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Petr Luschevskiy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergey Puchkov, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Hexham FC's Timofey Goman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Petr Luschevskiy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Petr Luschevskiy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Konstantin Gulyanov, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. After 86 minutes, Sergey Puchkov made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Melomans's Petr Luschevskiy tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vitaliy Akinfeev in the 94th minute of play forced Hexham FC's goalkeeper Vladimir Nikitin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Vitaliy Akinfeev kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vladimir Nikitin. That made the score 2-2 in the 97 minute of play.
