Gordey Gabuniya blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rafael Akinfeev having to make a save. The supporters of Cowley booed when Canvey Island FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lev Samsonov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Evlampiy Mamatov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Irakliy Statsenko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Evlampiy Mamatov came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Cowley's Albert Malyutin. But to his dismay, Albert Malyutin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Rafael Akinfeev came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Canvey Island FC's Lev Samsonov. But to his dismay, Lev Samsonov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 24 minutes into the game, Pavel Dymov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cowley's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Canvey Island FC the free kick. In the 24th match minute, Cowley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pavel Dymov to maneuver through the defense. Gordey Gabuniya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Rafael Akinfeev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Gordey Gabuniya could shoot a difficult shot in the 28th minute, which Rafael Akinfeev however easily saved by the left post. Konstantin Morozov's late challenge caught a Canvey Island FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Konstantin Morozov helped the player get up and apologised. After 30 played minutes Cowley got a freekick which was hit by Konstantin Morozov. The audience was convinced that Albert Malyutin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Evlampiy Mamatov was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Irakliy Statsenko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Evlampiy Mamatov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gordey Gabuniya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Cowley fans' excitement grew in the 46th match minute when Cowley's Albert Malyutin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lev Samsonov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Evlampiy Mamatov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Irakliy Statsenko in the 55th minute. Gordey Gabuniya's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rafael Akinfeev read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Lev Samsonov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Canvey Island FC's Evlampiy Mamatov got control of the ball when Ruslan Sidorov tried to sneak it across the goal line. Evlampiy Mamatov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albert Malyutin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 70 in the game by Irakliy Statsenko from a close distance when the talented Evlampiy Mamatov managed to make a qualified save. Canvey Island FC's players were relieved. 71 minutes into the match, Canvey Island FC's goal looked a bit too open when Albert Malyutin came free, but Evlampiy Mamatov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Evlampiy Mamatov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Albert Malyutin's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Albert Malyutin notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Canvey Island FC's Evlampiy Mamatov. Evlampiy Mamatov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Irakliy Statsenko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute, Albert Malyutin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Evlampiy Mamatov. The goal made the score 1-4. In the 91st minute Gordey Gabuniya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Akinfeev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Irakliy Statsenko in the 95thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Evlampiy Mamatov, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Evlampiy Mamatov didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 96th minute, which inside left pole to 1-5. The Cowley players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
