Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Aleksandr Dmitriev took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Irakliy Statsenko came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Cowley fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Irakliy Statsenko couldn't finish the play. Irakliy Statsenko who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 6thth minute tested the skills of Irakliy Kerzhakov when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Irakliy Statsenko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Irakliy Kerzhakov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Filipp Baiborodov came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the FC Borz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filipp Baiborodov couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Cowley getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Pavel Dymov hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albert Malyutin in the 19th minute of play forced FC Borz's goalkeeper Irakliy Kerzhakov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Irakliy Statsenko might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Irakliy Kerzhakov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Irakliy Statsenko ran back to his position shaking his head. Cowley's Rafael Akinfeev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filipp Baiborodov in the 23rd minute of play. Pavel Dymov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Irakliy Kerzhakov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Irakliy Statsenko in the 27thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Irakliy Kerzhakov, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Albert Malyutin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Irakliy Kerzhakov having to interfere. Irakliy Statsenko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 34th match minute, Cowley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mark Koshevoy to maneuver through the defense. Aleksandr Dmitriev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Akinfeev having to interfere. Ruslan Sidorov kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Cowley's Irakliy Statsenko got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Irakliy Statsenko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Irakliy Kerzhakov made a huge save.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Albert Malyutin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Cowley's Albert Malyutin got a free kick in the 51st minute. The supporters of Cowley booed when FC Borz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martyn Kobozev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Albert Malyutin scored 1-0 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Irakliy Kerzhakov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Cowley defense, Filipp Baiborodov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rafael Akinfeev. The Cowley fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rafael Akinfeev should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in FC Borz's zone, Irakliy Statsenko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Irakliy Kerzhakov came out of the goal and Irakliy Statsenko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 72nd minute, Filipp Baiborodov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. FC Borz's Irakliy Kerzhakov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albert Malyutin in the 80th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Danila Andreev during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 82nd match minute, FC Borz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danila Andreev to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Filipp Baiborodov got free with Rafael Akinfeev in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 91st minute, Albert Malyutin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to FC Borz getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Arkadiy Andrushko hit a great ball. Irakliy Kerzhakov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albert Malyutin, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. In the 96th minute, Irakliy Statsenko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. FC Borz succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Cowley had controlled the match.
