Emmanuil Kondratiev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Barys Oskemen's Innokentiy Afinogenov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mark Smirnov in the 6th minute of play. 7 minutes into the game, Sergey Smirdin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barys Oskemen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Golf GTI the free kick. In the 11th minute, Sergey Smirdin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marat Aldanov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gennadiy Belskiy hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Barys Oskemen's Innokentiy Afinogenov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artemiy Golyavin in the 22nd minute of play. Dmitriy Naumov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, FC Golf GTI's Gennadiy Belskiy got a free kick in the 25th minute. FC Golf GTI's Gennadiy Belskiy got his second yellow card of the match in the 28th minute. The referee ordered Gennadiy Belskiy off the ground. Gennadiy Belskiy kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Mark Smirnov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Innokentiy Afinogenov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mark Smirnov's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Dmitriy Naumov made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Barys Oskemen defense, Mark Smirnov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Innokentiy Afinogenov. The Barys Oskemen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Innokentiy Afinogenov should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dmitriy Naumov in the 61st minute of play forced FC Golf GTI's goalkeeper Oleg Tomin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute Dmitriy Naumov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oleg Tomin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dmitriy Naumov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Oleg Tomin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mark Smirnov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Innokentiy Afinogenov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Barys Oskemen's Innokentiy Afinogenov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Barys Oskemen from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in FC Golf GTI's zone, Dmitriy Naumov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oleg Tomin came out of the goal and Dmitriy Naumov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Elisey Divin fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Golf GTI's protests and gave Elisey Divin a yellow card for diving instead. In the 96th match minute, FC Golf GTI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elisey Divin to maneuver through the defense. Arkadiy Dorozhnin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Oleg Tomin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
