The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Спартак Семей's goalkeeper Danil Dolinin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aleksey Nikitin made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Albert Saveliev sent off a good shot on target. Albert Saveliev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Aleksey Nikitin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eduard Domaradskiy scored 1-1 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Danil Dolinin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

If Konstantin Gritsan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anton Tretyakov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Danil Dolinin made a huge save. With a little luck, Спартак Семей's Danil Dolinin got control of the ball when Anton Tretyakov tried to sneak it across the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, Eduard Domaradskiy dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Danil Dolinin, 1-2. 75 minutes into the game, Nikolay Solomakhin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Great Baddow FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Спартак Семей the free kick. In the 75th match minute, Great Baddow FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nikolay Solomakhin to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th minute, Artem Bezrodnyi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Спартак Семей fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Artem Bezrodnyi during the 81st minute. Great Baddow FC's Eduard Domaradskiy got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anton Tretyakov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Great Baddow FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
