Spectators: 7000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Arseniy Filimonov got the match started through his kick off. Igor Fedotev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eldar Sharonov in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Filipp Kolivin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Welwyn Garden City City's Nikifor Kovalev got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 8 minutes into the match, Filey United's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Fedotev came free, but Filipp Kolivin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. German Butuzov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arseniy Filimonov in the 11th minute of play. The supporters of Filey United booed when Welwyn Garden City City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Fedotev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Welwyn Garden City City were furious when Igor Fedotev was red carded, 17 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 16 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Welwyn Garden City City! Gennadiy Kirillov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 23 minutes, Innokentiy Pashin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Welwyn Garden City City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Innokentiy Pashin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. German Butuzov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kliment Trofimov went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Innokentiy Pashin took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Filipp Kolivin. Filipp Kolivin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Gennadiy Kirillov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipp Kolivin having to interfere. In the 33rd minute Innokentiy Pashin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filipp Kolivin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. German Butuzov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arseniy Filimonov, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Innokentiy Pashin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipp Kolivin having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nikifor Kovalev during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nikifor Kovalev kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. A collision led to Filey United getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Rustam Akimenko hit a great ball. Filipp Kolivin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nikifor Kovalev in the 44th minute of play. Innokentiy Pashin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Filipp Kolivin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Gennadiy Kirillov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Filipp Kolivin having to make a save. Gennadiy Kirillov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipp Kolivin having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Welwyn Garden City City's zone, Vadim Vorobtsov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. German Butuzov came out of the goal and Vadim Vorobtsov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gennadiy Kirillov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipp Kolivin having to interfere. Gennadiy Kirillov took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Filipp Kolivin. Filipp Kolivin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. 68 minutes into the match, Arseniy Filimonov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of German Butuzov. Welwyn Garden City City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arseniy Filimonov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Kliment Trofimov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without German Butuzov having to interfere. Filipp Kolivin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nikifor Kovalev in the 77th minute of play. German Butuzov came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Filey United's Kliment Trofimov. But to his dismay, Kliment Trofimov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. After having played for 83 minutes, Gennadiy Kirillov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Welwyn Garden City City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gennadiy Kirillov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Nikifor Kovalev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
