Semen Babkin kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Gennadiy Kirillov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aleksey Khokhlov having to interfere. If Artem Grishin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gennadiy Kirillovs short, quick shot in the 8thth minute got Aleksey Khokhlov to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Gennadiy Kirillov was extremely unlucky when he, in the 11th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Ashton Under Hill United's Semen Babkin got his second yellow card of the match in the 15th minute. The referee ordered Semen Babkin off the ground. After a rather tough play, Ashton Under Hill United's Semen Babkin got a free kick in the 16th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Ashton Under Hill United's goal looked a bit too open when Innokentiy Pashin came free, but Aleksey Khokhlov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Gennadiy Kirillov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute, Gennadiy Kirillov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 24 minutes into the match, Ashton Under Hill United's goal looked a bit too open when Artem Grishin came free, but Aleksey Khokhlov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute Arkadiy Arshenevskiy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but German Butuzov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Artem Grishins short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Aleksey Khokhlov to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 37th minute, Konstantin Egorov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Innokentiy Pashin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aleksey Khokhlov having to make a save. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Innokentiy Pashin made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Valeriy Alshevskiy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th match minute, Welwyn Garden City City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artem Grishin to maneuver through the defense. Gennadiy Kirillov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Aleksey Khokhlov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Innokentiy Pashin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gennadiy Kirillov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aleksey Khokhlov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Artem Grishin went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Innokentiy Pashin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ashton Under Hill United's Aleksey Khokhlov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artem Grishin in the 76th minute of play. If Artem Grishin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Irakliy Pavlov hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. 82 minutes into the match, Ashton Under Hill United's goal looked a bit too open when Innokentiy Pashin came free, but Aleksey Khokhlov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Artem Grishin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Ashton Under Hill United defense, Gennadiy Kirillov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aleksey Khokhlov. The Ashton Under Hill United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aleksey Khokhlov should have stopped the shot. Innokentiy Pashin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aleksey Khokhlov having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Welwyn Garden City City fully deserved thier win.
