Santiago Lizbeth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martyn Baiseitov having to interfere. The supporters of Wigston booed when FC Caspiy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filimon Koroteev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erubiel Chus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Martyn Baiseitov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Claes Hedström came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Caspiy's Filipp Debabov. But to his dismay, Filipp Debabov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Erubiel Chus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santiago Lizbeth's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Martyn Baiseitov firmly grabbed it by the left post. 33 minutes into the game, Filipp Debabov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Claes Hedström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Andrey Lisnyanskiy charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andrey Lisnyanskiy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to FC Caspiy getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Andrey Lisnyanskiy hit a great ball. The Wigston players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Caspiy were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ruslan Kudryavtsev stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, FC Caspiy's Denis Domeiko got a free kick in the 55th minute. Klim Muravev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Claes Hedström made a huge save. Claes Hedström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Klim Muravev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Arkhip Repin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Claes Hedström. That made the score 0-3 in the 61 minute of play. In the 64th match minute, Wigston was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruslan Kudryavtsev to maneuver through the defense. Claes Hedström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arkhip Repin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Filipp Debabov's late challenge caught a Wigston's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Filipp Debabov helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, FC Caspiy's Filipp Debabov got a free kick in the 71st minute. Claes Hedström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andrey Lisnyanskiy in the 74th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Klim Muravev during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. FC Caspiy's Boris Nekrasov got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 91 minutes into the match, FC Caspiy's Filipp Debabov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Claes Hedström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Boris Nekrasov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Claes Hedström having to make a save. 96 minutes into the match, Wigston's goal looked a bit too open when Filipp Debabov came free, but Claes Hedström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Caspiy played a much better game than Wigston and deserved their victory. The Wigston players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
