In the 13th minute of the match, Cruz Viana tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gleb Kudryavtsev saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Gleb Kudryavtsev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robin van Persie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lev Dinkov hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute, Robin van Persie reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gleb Kudryavtsev. The goal made the score 3-0. 33 minutes into the game, Kaljo Püss cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Gleb Kudryavtsev was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With an all-out effort, Kaisar Astana's Gleb Kudryavtsev threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ruslan Kulikov, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of Great Ayton AFC booed when Kaisar Astana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robin van Persie didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Great Ayton AFC's Vladimir Arhipov got a free kick in the 46th minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vadim Rozhkov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kaljo Püss took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gleb Kudryavtsev. Gleb Kudryavtsev dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. After a rather tough play, Great Ayton AFC's Vadim Rozhkov got a free kick in the 54th minute. Kaljo Püss received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Gleb Kudryavtsev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 57 minutes into the match, Great Ayton AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Cruz Viana came free, but Gleb Kudryavtsev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Leonid Kazachkov came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Great Ayton AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonid Kazachkov couldn't finish the play. 61 minutes into the match, Kaljo Püss notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Great Ayton AFC's Gleb Kudryavtsev. Gleb Kudryavtsev was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 63 minutes, Robin van Persie made it 8-0 with a short kick to the right side. In the 68th minute Kaljo Püss suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Lev Dinkov's late challenge caught a Kaisar Astana's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Klim Mamay was shown his second yellow card after 89 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Klim Mamay kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Kaisar Astana players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
