Christer Johnsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Claes Hedström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-10.

The wind increased when Christer Johnsson made the kick off in the second half. Christer Johnsson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Christer Johnsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Claes Hedström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christer Johnsson in the 70th minute of the match. Christer Johnsson had several of the Wigston's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 76 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-14 score and a disappointed Claes Hedström as he didn't even see the shot coming. Claes Hedström made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Ayrton Schumacher sent off a good shot on target. Christer Johnsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Claes Hedström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 86 minutes into the game, Ruslan Kudryavtsev was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wigston's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Shymkent Camels the free kick. In the 91st minute, Christer Johnsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Claes Hedström was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-16. Christer Johnsson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 94thth minute, Claes Hedström skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Claes Hedström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christer Johnsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
