Wigston's Claes Hedström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kapiton Mironov in the 8th minute of play. Vadim Rozhkov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kapiton Mironov got free with Claes Hedström in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 17 minutes into the game, Kapiton Mironov lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Claes Hedström. Ruslan Kudryavtsev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gleb Kudryavtsev having to interfere. Leonid Kazachkov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Claes Hedström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience held their breath when Romeo Bento in the 28th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Gleb Kudryavtsev's left hand side. 34 minutes into the match, Wigston's goalkeeper Claes Hedström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kapiton Mironov. Claes Hedström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kapiton Mironov in the 35th minute of the match. Kapiton Mironov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 38 minutes into the match, Great Ayton AFC's Leonid Kazachkov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Claes Hedström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Wigston's Ruslan Kudryavtsev got a free kick in the 38th minute. Claes Hedström made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Kapiton Mironov sent off a good shot on target. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vadim Rozhkov to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Sergey Dorofeev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claes Hedström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claes Hedström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vadim Rozhkov in the 55th minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Kapiton Mironov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Claes Hedström was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 60thth minute of the game Leonid Kazachkov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wigston's Claes Hedström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Claes Hedström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kapiton Mironov in the 61st minute of the match. 63 minutes had been played when some careless play by Wigston's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Leonid Kazachkov was slow to take the kick. During this time Great Ayton AFC's players had a chance to rest. Erubiel Chus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Leonid Kazachkov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Great Ayton AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonid Kazachkov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claes Hedström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vadim Rozhkov in the 71st minute of play forced Wigston's goalkeeper Claes Hedström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Great Ayton AFC's zone, Erubiel Chus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gleb Kudryavtsev came out of the goal and Erubiel Chus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gennadiy Azovskiy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Santiago Lizbeth fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wigston's protests and gave Santiago Lizbeth a yellow card for diving instead. In the 85th minute, Santiago Lizbeth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Great Ayton AFC's Leonid Kazachkov in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Wigston's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 90 minutes, Erubiel Chus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wigston's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erubiel Chus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Great Ayton AFC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Kapiton Mironov hit a great ball. If Kapiton Mironov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Great Ayton AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Wigston for a fine match.
