Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rudolf Galtsev kicked off to start the match. Vladimir Noskov kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. In the 4th minute, Vsevolod Brovchenko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Vladimir Noskov fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stowmarket's protests and gave Vladimir Noskov a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Stowmarket getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Vladimir Noskov hit a great ball. Petr Belenko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leon Zaworski, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Stepan Rubtsov made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Anatoliy Razbash sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Stowmarket getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Petr Zykov hit a great ball. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alay City's goalkeeper Petr Belenko, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Petr Belenko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leon Zaworski in the 19th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Stowmarket's goal looked a bit too open when Rudolf Galtsev came free, but Stepan Rubtsov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd match minute, Stowmarket was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lev Karpov to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Stowmarket's Konstantin Kushelev got a free kick in the 25th minute. When András Lőrinc came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Stowmarket fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that András Lőrinc couldn't finish the play. Leon Zaworski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Petr Belenko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Alay City defense, András Lőrinc kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Petr Belenko. The Alay City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Petr Belenko should have stopped the shot. 40 minutes into the match, Alay City's goal looked a bit too open when Konstantin Kushelev came free, but Petr Belenko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 41 played minutes Alay City got a freekick which was hit by Rudolf Galtsev. In the 43rd minute Rudolf Galtsev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stepan Rubtsov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leon Zaworski to strike the kick off in the second half. When András Lőrinc came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Stowmarket fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that András Lőrinc couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Konstantin Kushelev managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stowmarket's supporters rose to their feet, but Konstantin Kushelev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Petr Belenko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leon Zaworski in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Petr Belenko saved Alay City from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when András Lőrinc got free with Petr Belenko in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leon Zaworski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Alay City's zone, András Lőrinc stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Petr Belenko came out of the goal and András Lőrinc tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. András Lőrinc succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 67th playminute. 72 minutes into the match, Konstantin Kushelev had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Petr Belenko. Alay City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Konstantin Kushelev was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Petr Belenko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leon Zaworski in the 76th minute of play. Thor Kilman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 82 minutes into the game, Pavel Kerzhakov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alay City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stowmarket the free kick. A collision led to Alay City getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Pavel Kerzhakov hit a great ball. Leon Zaworski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petr Belenko having to interfere. If András Lőrinc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stepan Rubtsov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vsevolod Brovchenko in the 97th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Stowmarket had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
